Reading translates to every subject and is the critical factor to academic success. Begins with identifying the learner’s reading level and building an individualized program to help with comprehension, phonics, and fluency. The joy of reading helps general knowledge and builds self-confidence.
SOCIAL SKILL MENTORING
Is grounded in total acceptance of the student and builds capability by working on examples, doing role play, and sharing real-world social strategies and realities. Homework is assigned. The spirit of adventure is encouraged. Learners are taught how to build safe, as well as socially rewarding, personal and professional relationships.

CORE SUBJECT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL MENTORING
Begins with a thorough assessment of each student’s strengths and learning needs. Builds from the ground up to provide measurable improvement of academic capabilities. Subject specializations include: Social Studies, History, and Language Arts. Core skill rebuilding in reading and writing occurs to support academic success as subject matter becomes more difficult.
